These are interesting, but I like them. They are truly scent-free, as best as I can tell. They are packaged as sheets that are perforated through the middle so that one sheet pulls apart to become two sheets, and it is easy to do this. They have an almost foam-like feeling, so not the usual fabric softener material, and I do find that they leave my clothes softer than without, but not with that weird filmy feeling that some softener sheets leave on your clothes.

Earlier this year I switched to dissolving no waste laundry detergent sheets, and I was thrilled to see this design now for fabric softener, too. The sheets are clean to handle and easy to tear if needed. Tossing them in the wash together with the detergent, these softener sheets dissolve completely and do make my laundry noticeably softer. Most importantly, the formula does not irritate my skin like many fabric softeners do. I did order the fragrance free version just in case. I will be ordering more of these when the first box is finished!

I haven't used any form of fabric softener for years... I just don't like how it coats fabrics and your machines and gunks them up. It's not healthy and it's not good for your clothes! But my eco-friendly laundry detergent doesn't leave any kind of fresh scent on my clothes and I do kind of miss that. So I decided to give these sheets a try.They're so easy to use, even my hubby could do it. So that's one good thing. Instructions say you can use 1/2 a sheet (they're perforated) for a small load, 1 sheet for a regular load, and 2 sheets for extra extra softness.We did 2 loads, each using 1 sheet. I will say, we have a BIG washer so it holds a lot of clothes... and in hindsight maybe it would be better for us to use 2 sheets when doing that much at once. But for the sake of this review, 1 sheet. I do think that our clothes came out with added softness that we hadn't experienced before... most notably in my husband's thicker cotton t-shirts that are typically less soft than the lighter weight tri-blend ones we love. But there wasn't any discernable fragrance at all.I wouldn't say that's a deal-breaker because sometimes our clothes do come out with an "off" scent.. not bad, just not "fresh" so to speak. And I didn't detect that at all, either. It was just... nothing.Next round of laundry we'll try 2 sheets and see if that makes a difference. If so, I'll be a loyal customer of this company because I'm already getting softness without build-up or irritation on my skin so that's a win. But I long for a light, fresh scent on my clean clothes. I will update this review after trying 2 sheets and advise if it helped.The sheets themselves smell GREAT before tossing into the washer, by the way. Lovely scent. Not too perfume-y.
